Job Context/Purpose

The role involves managing workflow, supervising team members, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. The role requires a highly organized, proactive, and safety-conscious Factory Floor Manager/Supervisor to lead daily operations on the manufacturing floor

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the UAV production floor
• Coordinate teams involved in mechanical assembly, electronics integration, and final testing
• Monitor production schedules and align resources to meet output targets
• Ensure adherence to aerospace-grade quality standards and documentation protocols
• Supervise technicians and support staff, including skills development and performance management
• Troubleshoot process bottlenecks and implement lean practices for efficiency
• Enforce rigorous safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) handling protocols
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and procurement teams to manage design updates and component sourcing
• Track production metrics, test outcomes, and quality assurance data for continuous improvement

 

• Maintain detailed records of production batches, component usage, and assembly processes
• Ensure proper documentation of quality inspections, calibration logs, and test results
• Enforce traceability of components with labeling and bill of material (BoM) accuracy
• Coordinate documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections
• Manage document control protocols for design updates, versioning, and process instructions
• Ensure compliance with standards like AS9100 and ISO 9001 through structured documentation systems
• Review and validate reports submitted by supervisors and technicians

5+ years of supervisory experience in aerospace manufacturing
